Every five years the Church of England inspect their schools and academies. In June 2024, Bluecoat Aspley Academy had its Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) inspection. We are delighted to announce that the school is living up to its foundation as a church school.

We are thrilled that, once again, Bluecoat Aspley’s SIAMS inspection report reflects the hard work and commitment of a whole team of staff working together with students and parents. We are extremely grateful to the parents who came in to help with this inspection. Our Trust Chaplain, working with our local church links and the support of Trust and AAB members, all made this outcome possible.
It is an opportunity to genuinely celebrate the great faith centred work that takes place daily at Bluecoat Aspley Academy. We are especially thankful to our friends at St Margaret’s Church who give up so much time to help serve and support our community led by Revd Rich Atkinson who works tirelessly both as the Chair of the AAB and church leader to fulfil our mission to be a distinctively Christian Academy.
