Applying for a Year 7 place in September 2025
Admissions to Bluecoat Aspley Academy are carried out as part of the home authority’s coordinated admission arrangements. Parents/Carers wishing to apply for a year 7 place at Bluecoat Aspley Academy starting in September 2025 should complete a local authority common application form by the 31st October 2024, naming Bluecoat Aspley Academy as a preference. In addition to completing the schools common application form via the Nottingham city Council on the link above, parents/carers should also complete a Bluecoat Aspley Academy supplementary form, which can be accessed to the right of this page. Alternatively a paper copy can be collected from the academy reception. All paper supplementary forms should be returned directly to the academy F.A.O Admissions by the *31st October 2024. Failure to complete both forms may result in your application not being considered under all of the possible criteria. Notification of school allocation will be made by your home local authority on National Offer Day, 3rd March 2025.
*Parents/Carers wishing for their child to take the Technology aptitude test will need to ensure their supplementary form is returned to the academy by 27th September 2024.
