Moving to secondary school is an exciting time, but it can also be nerve-wracking for both students and parents. In light of this we have compiled a range of experiences for Y6 students and parents/carers on this page, to give you a flavour of life at BAA.
Please explore our on-line transition, and if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the academy via firstname.lastname@example.org and your query will be directed to the most appropriate staff member.
Head of Year 7
Hello everyone, my name is Mrs. Prospere and I’d like to welcome you to the Bluecoat family. I’m looking forward to meeting you all in September and learning all about you.
You’ll be seeing a lot of me when you start as I am your year leader. This means if you have any concerns, worries or simply just wish to say “Hello”, I am here for you.
Hopefully you are ready to embark on the next chapter of your life at secondary school and you are excited to start learning some new subjects, meeting all your new teachers and making new friends.
Please take a look at our website where you’ll see lots of information about Bluecoat Aspley Academy and you can also take a virtual tour of the school ready for your start in September.
